Prodigy 2.0 Inventory System

A prodigy style inventory built as a rework of ox_inventory v2.43.5. The whole system runs on metadata, so every item carries its own internal information instead of being another copy of the same definition. That is what makes genuinely unique items possible, and it is still rare to see it done properly in the FiveM community.

What it adds on top of the ox base

  • Metadata items: each item stores its own internal data, so two of the same item can be completely different
  • Backpack system: players choose whether to run with a backpack or without one
  • Special slots: a dedicated slot feature you can customize however you want
  • Item rarity: rarity tiers assigned through item metadata
  • Crafting table: built in, with a UI that is easy on the eye

Escrow

Only the additional functions added in this rework are escrowed. The ox_inventory base itself is not escrowed at all, it stays open exactly as OX ships it.

Dependencies

  • qb-core, es_extended or qbx_core
  • oxmysql
  • qb-target or ox_target (optional)
