Music in FiveM usually means a crackling microphone or everyone alt-tabbing to a third-party app. This system does it properly: sound lives at a location and behaves the way it does in the real world. Players carry speakers on their character, mount them visibly on vehicles, queue tracks, browse the music history, and set up permanent or public speakers with configurable logging. New speaker types can be created in-game, there is a built-in speaker shop, and permanent speakers can be repositioned with the gizmo system. Dependencies have been cut down compared to earlier versions.

Every script we release runs on our own roleplay server first, tested by hundreds of players over several weeks before it reaches Tebex. Tens of thousands of unique songs have been played through this system, and it has become part of our players' everyday activities. House parties, beach festivals, weddings, car meets: ambient music sets the mood without anyone falling back on workarounds.

The resource works with any framework through the provided API, or runs standalone. Configuration options are extensive, and if something can't be configured yet, we can include it in a future update.

Features

Spatial audio

Spatial audio simulates real-world acoustics, so what players hear depends on where they stand relative to the speaker: up close, far away, or behind it. It gives events like house parties and car meets real depth and makes them feel more lifelike.

Speaker models via config

Add new speaker models through the config, each with its own max range, filters, volume settings and more. A basic boombox can cover a short range while a large club speaker fills a much bigger area. The choice is yours.

Music on the move

Attach a speaker to your character and the music follows you. Attach it to a vehicle instead, either hidden or visually displayed with the gizmo system, and the music follows the car rather than the player.

Speaker groups

Connect and synchronize speakers across a venue. For concerts and festivals, put bass-heavy speakers near the stage for deep sound and balanced speakers around the area for clarity. For car meets or cruising with friends, sync speakers across multiple vehicles so everyone hears the same track at the same moment, no matter how far apart the cars are. Groups can be organized by location, type or preference for a fully synchronized audio setup.

Filters

Apply filters such as lowpass, highshelf and bandpass (and many more) to each speaker individually. Emphasize deep bass at a concert or sharpen the treble for clear vocals, and shape exactly the sound profile an event needs so every note and beat lands as intended.

Performance

Resmon: 0.00ms idle, 0.02-0.04ms active.

Do not guess or rename the resource folder. Use the dependency order, config values, SQL and item definitions supplied in the download when they are present.

  3. Start it after its dependencies

Upload the folder to resources/, then add ensure <download-folder> to server.cfg using the exact downloaded folder name.

  4. Test before going live

Start it on a development server, check the console for missing dependencies, then test every action described on this page with the integrations used by your live server.
