Lootbag for PVP Servers
On a PVP server, dead bodies full of gear are a mess. This script cleans that up: when a player dies, their whole inventory goes into a lootbag that drops on the spot, and whoever claims the bag gets the items. First to the bag wins the fight twice.
The bag prop is set in the config, so you can swap the model to whatever fits your server. Players can also see their recent death spots for a minute after dying, which gives them a fair shot at running back for their own gear before someone else grabs it.
Bags do not pile up. Every lootbag despawns after 5 minutes, and both that timer and the death spot countdown can be changed in the config.
How it works
- Death drop: the dead player's entire inventory transfers into a lootbag at their body
- Claiming: the player who claims the bag receives all the items
- Death spots: your last death locations stay visible for a minute, timer configurable
- Cleanup: lootbags delete themselves after 5 minutes, timer configurable
- Bag model: change the prop via config
Compatibility
Works with any inventory that runs on QBCore or ESX, so there is nothing to rewrite for ox_inventory, qb-inventory or whatever your server uses.
