Police Citation Script

A citation script from Right Developments built around one idea: a ticket should exist in the world, not just in a chat log. When an officer writes someone up, the citation becomes an actual item, so the suspect walks away with something physical to deal with.

How citations work

  • Citations as items: every citation written is turned into an inventory item
  • Citation sheet: each citation carries a sheet listing the suspect's name, the charges, and the price
  • Pay and print: citations can be paid off and printed out

The result is more roleplay around the traffic stop itself. The ticket gets handed over, read, argued about, and eventually paid, instead of disappearing into a notification.

Dependencies

  • QBCore
  • qb-inventory or ox_inventory (it probably works with other inventory systems too, create a ticket in the Discord to be sure)
